Expressions of interest are sought for the opportunity to take on a new lease of the Café. The preferred operator will provide a varied food and refreshment offering aligned with the Government of Jersey’s core principals for health and well-being, to service the sports centre’s circa 300,000 annual visitors.

There will be an expectation to remain open during the sports centre’s core opening hours and for a hot food offering to be provided during this time. The chosen operator will have a proven track-record and reputation for delivering high-quality food / refreshments and excellent customer service. In addition to providing a café service within the sports centre, the successful applicant will have exclusive rights to service outdoor events / catering, within the perimeter of Les Quennevais Sports Centre.

The new lease will be drawn on Internal Repairing & Insuring terms for 9- years. Rental will be £36,000 p/a, subject to triennial increases in line with the JRPI. A rent free period will be provided to the successful applicant in lieu of investment made during any refurbishment.


The Café is available for occupation from 02nd July 2021 or earlier, by negotiation with the existing operator, whose lease expires on 01st July 2021.
