About Me
Lucy has worked in the commercial property sector since 2005, firstly joining BNP Real Estate where she undertook a 4-year distance learning degree in Estate Management with the University of Reading. While working full time, Lucy graduated in 2009 with a 1st class honours degree shortly before the birth of her eldest daughter. While at BNP Real Estate, Lucy completed a 2-year APC program with the RICS, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer in 2012.
In 2014, Lucy joined Jersey Property Holdings, managing the public’s diverse property portfolio, playing a key role in the acquisition of a number of properties, enabling development of the new Les Quennevais Secondary School, aiding in the implementation of the Modern Office Strategy including overseeing the acquisition of numerous large office assets and assisting in facilitating the move of the public’s office function to Broad Street. In 2016, Lucy’s youngest daughter was born.
During 2020, as the world was reeling from the impact of the Covid pandemic, Lucy secured the prestigious role of pan-island Head of Property at the Channel Islands Cooperative Society, working under the leadership of the Chief Development Officer, quickly moving to report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. While at the Co-op, Lucy played a crucial role in delivering high functioning in-house facilities management services, restructuring the property management function, identifying surplus assets for disposal or lease and advising on numerous complex property transactions, as well as taking the lead in project managing a number of capital construction projects including the new Co Op food store in Five Oaks and refurbishments throughout the estate.
Lucy’s broad-breadth of experience within both public and private sectors has secured skills in commercial and residential valuation, lease consultancy, investment and agency negotiations, development advice, facilities management and property leasehold management. Lucy is well known for her attention to detail, her diligence, determination and providing the best possible service to her clients.
Lucy is mother of two daughters; Ava age 13 and Ashley age 6. Her spare time is spent with her family, socialising with friends, reading a wide range of books and experimenting with extravagant recipes in the kitchen.
